The Yoga Loft truth we live and teach...
Yoga Loft Hawaii is the first centrally located yoga studio on Oahu! We opened on April 2, 2012 and are very thrilled to share the true meaning of yoga with the community. We are a boutique, and organic style studio with an edge on meeting the individual’s needs. We offer a wide range of classes fit for every person. You don’t have to touch your toes to do yoga- just remember its called yoga practice not yoga perfect!
Yoga Loft studio is a place where people of all religions, race and physical differences can come together to share space through asana yoga. By sharing space, by moving together, breathing together, meditating together and having fun together the students and teachers will experience a true divine love for one another inside the studio as well as out. We then can take this cooperative healing love and share that affection with our community and the world. Mahatma Gandhi said “Be the change you wish to see in the world” and I believe that the change starts with sharing and spreading love”. You may be thinking how does asana yoga do all this? Well when we come together and practice asana whether the class is a vigorous flow, a gentle restorative 90 minutes or children’s play yoga, what happens is our mind with all of its baggage and chatter is given the opportunity to stop thinking and just be. It is when we are enriched in the present moment, and when we are conscious of our breath, we are then our true nature, and I trust that our true nature is all inherently good, blissful and beautiful. We just need to get back to the heart and then share our heart with all other thirsty hearts.
I hope to see you in the studio soon.
We are located at 94-547 Ukee Street, Suite 205 in Waipahu.
