Dr. Jane Foody has been hiding on the island of Oahu for the past 3 years. At 13 years old, she committed herself to a regular yoga practice. Yoga provided the light and love which set Jane free from depression, suicidal thoughts, addictions and teen angst. Eventually the practice of yoga led her to follow her heart and become a doctor of physical therapy, an experienced registered yoga teacher and a certified hypnotist with a BA in psychology.
At age 23 Jane became the youngest person to found a 200 hour yoga teacher training recognized by Yoga Alliance. Melding knowledge from the the 3 healing modalities she is trained in, she focuses her energy on training safe yoga teachers and helping people from all walks of life transform into their healthiest, happiest and best selves. Her ultimate life goal is to serve as a catalyst for the evolution and healing of millions of people all over the world.
As a young yoga teacher, Jane was finding she was unable to address the many physical needs of all her students and thus decided to embark on the long journey of becoming a physical therapist. Jane has studied and trained in many different styles of yoga and prefers to customize yoga for the individuals she is working with.
Dr. Jane Foody has studied with many yoga masters including Mukunda Stiles, David Williams, Dr. Larry Payne, Gary Kraftsow, Sara Meeks, Edely Wallace, Dr. Timothy McCall, Dr. Loren Fishman and many others.
